KIDS interactive is the “creative industry” national winner KfW Award “GründerChampion” 2012

On the evening of 25 October the winners were awarded in the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. The award was awarded as part of the German Founders and Entrepreneurs days (deGUT). The KfW Award recognises a young company from each state. 16 state winners competed for the national victory in the categories of “innovation”, “social responsibility” and “creative industry”.

KIDS interactive GmbH received the title of National winner in the category “creative industry”. Companies no older than five years who are implementing a sustainable business idea which creates added social value were able to apply.

The selection of the jury with representatives from politics, business, media, state development institutes and Chambers of industry and commerce was made in accordance with the following criteria: Business idea, creativity, innovation, creation and retention of employment or training opportunities, social responsibility and environmentally responsible behaviour.

The KfW award “Company” –  GründerChampions is a quality award for young companies. The KfW supports the self-employed so that they receive public recognition for their courage and commitment. Entrepreneurial behaviour and social responsibility belong together – above all for the KfW with its statutory mandate to drive economic and social change and to contribute to the improvement in the quality of life.
